The most important factor is the simplicity or complexity of the scent as well as the composition of the oil, which largely determines how long you can enjoy the room scent until the glass is empty.

Cheap room fragrances are simply composed and have a quick evaporation factor. The more complex the fragrance composition, the more interesting and subtle the scent. Who wants to be almost breathless when they enter a room? And this is particularly important in warm temperatures, because they primarily support sweet tones, which are then very heavy in the air.

At the beginning you should find out which variants of room scents you like. A distinction is made here between the scent notes sweet, fresh, tart and woody. Start finding the right room scent and make it your “signature scent.” You can then play with the scents by creating different scent worlds in rooms. Maybe you like a more bitter, woody scent of leather and cedar wood in the living room, while you prefer a fresh note of lemon in the bedroom and opt for an oriental scent based on OUD wood in the bathroom.
